We started Slipstream because we had all experienced the frustrations of undocumented process in our own jobs, and we saw how those inefficiencies took a toll both financially and on employee morale. Simple questions like, "Where do I go to start an expense report reimbursement?" or "How do I start a post-mortem?" shouldn't take up time and pull people away from doing their actual jobs.
However, while some products already existed, none of them solved all of our frustrations. Some created even more frustrations. And many either required a large investment (high base cost + significant cost per user) or locked their most useful features behind higher tiers.
So we set out to create a tool to solve process challenges in an affordable and easy-to-use way: a small business product for small businesses. And Slipstream was born!
